Optional 6th Day Printing Workshop

Join Ed Riddell In His Studio For A Full Day Of Image Editing And Printing The Day After The Workshop.

This optional 6th day ($500 additional fee) for up to six students will be at Ed Riddell’s studio, with instruction dedicated to digital editing and printing techniques. Ed will edit, adjust and refine one selected image shot during the workshop for each participant. Ed has a state-of-the-art printing studio featuring a 44" Canon Pro 4000 12-color inkjet printer. Ed will make one 16x20 finished print for each student on the paper of their choice and also provide them with the finished and edited file. Students will observe Ed’s editing and printing workflow from start to finish and observe how he manipulates and color corrects images for best results. You'll see all the various techniques Ed used to extract the most out of each image. As Ansel Adams used to say, "The negative is only the score. The print is the performance." Most people are amazed at the transformation an image undergoes between the RAW digital file and the finished print.
